Paradise Circus, Birmingham – Redevelopment News
The long awaited redevelopment of Birmingham city centre has begun and the former Paradise Circus and Central Library make way for a new retail and leisure scheme.
The £500 million project will provide new office accommodation, a cycling hub, green areas and a new highways system offering both Birmingham residents and commuters a variety of transport options accessing the city.
Birmingham’s ever changing landscape doesn’t come without disruption, as the six-month programme of works will include slip road closures, lane closures and diversions at junctions 5,6 and 7 on the M6 – used by 160,000 vehicles every day.
